Nice little rest area with bathrooms and beach access. Clean beach with more rocks to the east. Not much for rock hunting/picking though but scenic to see.
Beautiful log cabin style rest area with beach access! All photos were taken by drone at the eastern beach access point. There are also coin operated mounted binoculars you can use on the pier.

This is as about as good as it gets for a rest stop. If you're driving by here you definitely got to stop lots of great things to see in the bathroom is extremely clean. There are quite a few picnic tables and information signs about what's her in the area as well as a great walk down by the shore.
The restrooms were clean for the most part and not smelly. I appreciate the warm water to wash hands properly. I loved the fact that it also has a scenic view of Lake Michigan and beach access. It is a great place to pull off the road and restore your level of comfort.

Nice rest with several tables that make for a great lunch spot. Beach access to beautiful Lake Michigan. Lots of plants and dune grass on the beach line so probably wouldn’t be the best place to lay a beach blanket down, but still a great spot to see the lake.
